EVENTS OVERVIEWPMOPA members enjoy gathering in person to share their passion for aviation and their PA-46 aircraft, learning from each other, and building community. PMOPA hosts a variety of events throughout the year, from local gatherings to an international convention. We look forward to welcoming you at an event soon! CONVENTIONEach year, hundreds of PMOPA members gather for a long weekend packed with educational programming specifically tailored to owners and pilots of Piper PA-46 aircraft. The Convention typically kicks-off with a golf tournament and a pre-convention safety workshop on Thursday, followed by a Welcome Reception. Friday and Saturday feature content-rich education sessions and an exhibit hall with top-quality vendors serving PA-46 owners. The Convention also features a Silent and Live Auction and Gala to support the PMOPA Safety & Education Foundation. The 2025 PMOPA Convention was held September 11 - 4, 2024 at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI. REGIONAL EVENTSPMOPA hosts Regional Events which are shorter weekend events featuring one day of educational content with a strong safety programming focus, and social activities. Check out our upcoming Regional Events. FLY-OUTS PMOPA members in the CaribbeanHave PA-46; will travel! PMOPA volunteers identify interesting and appealing destinations for fly-out activities. These are multi-day trips to a vacation destination, providing an excellent reason to fly your plane and the opportunity to get to know your fellow PMOPA members in a relaxing setting. Fly Out with PMOPA! LOCAL GATHERINGSThere is no need to wait for an official PMOPA event - members are welcome and encouraged to facilitate local gatherings. Members may meet up for lunch or another activity of their choosing. PMOPA staff will assist by facilitating announcements to the membership in the area, as well as creating an event registration page to track attendee interest. WebinarsPMOPA is pleased to present webinars, offered free to members, delivering specialized content and expert-led presentations, fostering your learning and skill development. Topics range from industry updates to aviation safety to aircraft maintenance recommendations, and everything in between.
